How-to Add OwnCloud Apt Repo for Ubuntu-12.04-Quantal/Linux-Mint-13

The Tip Show How-to Add the ownCloud Server/Client Apt Repository for Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin LTS and for Linux Mint 13 Maya LTS 32/64bit.

  1. Open a Terminal Window

  2. Add the OwnCloud Apt Repo:

    sudo sh -c "echo 'deb http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/isv:/ownCloud:/community/xUbuntu_12.04/ /' >> /etc/apt/sources.list.d/owncloud-client.list"

  3. Eventually Add also the OwnCloud GPG Key

    wget http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/isv:ownCloud:community/xUbuntu_12.04/Release.key
     
    sudo apt-key add - < Release.key

  4. Update Apt Repos

    apt-get update
